If your hair is orange can you just dye it blonde or do you have to re-bleach it ?

I dyed my hair half black & half blonde for a different look. It looks good except I bleached my black hair then my roots turned the blonde I wanted to be to start with but my hair after my roots are orange-ish . And I don't know whether I should re-bleach it or just dye it blonde .
