What is a good, easy (beginners) book for a church home group?

My husband and I lead a home group for our church. We have recently finished the book "Crazy Love" by Frances Chan - we all enjoyed it. We have since started "Experiencing God" by Henry & Richard Blackaby and it is tough. It is a very hard read for all of us and none of us have taken any sort of interest in it whatsoever. We are all very involved in our church, but all have a hard time comprehending stuff without our Pastors help :) We are looking for a book that is easy to understand and is written to be used in a small group... we like to have the books give us real life explanations. We are all also very busy and do not like units that are extremely long! I would appreciate all input! Thanks so much!!
