Nose piercing problem?

Well here's the deal. I got my nose pierced about 6 weeks ago. About 3 weeks ago, a bump appeared by the piercing. It was a little sore and I did a little research and discovered that the bump is very common. I've been putting warm compresses on it a few times a day. All is good, right? Well, not exactly. Yesterday I caught my piercing on my headband and nearly yanked the whole thing out of my nose. It bled, then scabbed and now I not only have the first bump, but there's a second bump next to the first. I don't know what to do. I really don't want to take my piercing out, but I don't want to get a bad infection either. It's been sore, obviously and it looks gross to me. Has anyone else had this problem before????

Actually,I have a friend,whom I had known for quite a long time,experienced massive hair fall.When she wakes up from sleep,there was a lot of hair on her pillow,even when she uses her computer,after one hour or so,there was a lot of hair on the floor.So,I brought her to see a normal doctor.The doctor told her to avoid food junks for 1 year and eat a lot of vegetables,and said that her scalp is dirty and he gave her a special shampoo to wash her scalp.She was also given vitamin C's.But it seems like the hair fall never stops,so in the end she had to wear a wig and I brought her to see a dermatologist.He said her hair growth had completely become the opposite,(drop more,less grow) and the hair roots become weak.The specialist also suggested her to see the gynecologist.So she went to see the gynecologist and he requested her to go for a blood test.After the result was out,there was nothing particular and her hormone is balanced.She did take the medicines given by the dermatologist,but due to her forgetfulness,she often forget to take her medicine.So her mother suggested her to apply olive oil every night to make the hair grow and take supplements to improve the hair growth and strengthen the hair roots.But still,she always forget to take.It's been almost 1 year she lost her hair and it seems like her hair is growing really slow.Some did grow but it drop off in the end.What can I do for her?Is there really good products to make the hair grow faster and to strengthen hair roots?Do you think if she were to go for hair treatment center,would the hair grow?She's perfectly fine,she doesn't have anything dangerous inside her..

Power supply unit problems?

I've been converting car audio systems to home systems and I ran into a problem with the power supply I just got... I yanked it out of an old dell tower and noticed it was packed with dust so I used and air hose and cleaned it off... To operate it I had to jump the green wire to one of the black wires on the motherboard plug.. I've done this befor and never had a problem... But with this one the supply came on for a second then shut off and wouldn't turn back on for about ten minutes and it did the same thing.. I have no clue what's wrong with itt

Do puppies goe through a fearful stage?

I have a 5 month old Border collie/australian shepherd mix puppy. She is a great dog besides this fearful stuff that has escalated in the past month. I was looking up about it and some people have expierienced the same thing especially with Border collies or mixes. She has taken to barking at dogs and even people she lives with if she sees them on the street. She will be 4 feet away from my brother and will conntinue to bark very aggressively and loudly even though she knows who he is. Will bark like crazy at other dogs. She gets lots of excercise but has been making it really embarrassing to even walk her around the block. I can't get her to stop barking unless I hold her muzzle shut. I have tried standing in front of her and telling her no and yanking the leash. Help? She is skittish of weird objects too. I really hope this is only a phase. She is awesome and is very well trained except for how skittish she is on walks! She was raised around tons of people, children cats and another dog. I do not understand why she is doing this.

What more can I do about an abusive kindergarden teacher?

My 6 year old son's kindergarten teacher yanked him by the arm and he has a really dark purple bruise which looks like finger marks. I think she probably squeezed when she yanked him. He told me he was getting a drink of water, she told him not to get anymore water when she yanked him away from the water fountain. She complains to me constantly about how many times he washes his hands and goes to the bathroom. She actually has something to complain about everyday. My son has AD-HD, and also might have Asperger's Syndrome so he is very active and curious. It's obvious that my son frustrates her and might get on her nerves. Which is no exuse to ever put her hands on my son or any other student. At the beginning of the school year I pulled him out of that class which is taught by two teachers who had advised me to do so because my son "wasn't ready" and I was so tired of the constant complaining and arguing. I mean, come on, it's kindergarten. What 5 year old doesn't like to play and stay seated without moving around? What 5 year old doesn't ask why for everything? After getting denied entry into a home-school program and after my son turned 6 I had to enroll him back into school. I told the principal, attendance clerk, and receptionist that I did not want my son back in the same class with the same teachers. They told me there wasn't any room in the other classroom and I didn't have a choice. So he went back into the same negative environment and the complaining started right up again. This time instead of arguing with the teacher's I responded by reminding them of his diagnosis and tried to say positive things about my son when they had negative things to say. When my son told me what his teacher did, how he got the bruise, I called the police before I called the school. Two officer's came to my house and had the nerve the ask my son what he did to make his teacher mad! My son told them what he told me and I told them I don't care what my son did, nobody has the right to put their hands on him. I was so upset, I didn't know what to do with myself. The officers left my home to go talk to the teacher at the school and told me to stay put. When they came back they said the teacher admitted telling my son not to get any more water, but denied touching him. The officers said they believed my son, took pictures of his arm, and filled out a report. They told me that she wouldn't be prosecuted because she didn't break his arm. After they left, I went to the school and gave the principal a piece of my mind. She finally put my son in the other classroom, although there is only 3 days of school left, too little too late. I then went to the school district and filed a complaint. They took pictures and told me to take my son to the doctor, urgent care, or hospital and they would pay for it. I just feel like this teacher is getting away with what she did. Is there anything else I can do? My son is scared to go back to school. His teacher hurt him on June 9, I called police and made complaints on June 10. He's supposed to return to school on Monday, June 13. What should I do?

BROWN hair dye turned out BLACK? When will it fade?

The fading time differs from the product,it may take 6-8 weeks to fade. And that's washing everyday. And if bleach was used then i would be carful for the fading. Bleach makes the faded color sometimes look orange on sertain colors. Hope this helped.

They gave me two numb shots. then they took that tool trying to extract my tooth. but it HURTED SO BAD! they were trying to yank it out for 4 whole minutes. they kept trying and trying to yank it with the tool. and it KILLED me... the pain was horrible. my mouth wasn't even numbed. it hurted sooo bad to the point where i wanted to scream and cry. like seriously, after two shots , they spend FOUR WHOLE minutes just trying to yank it out and they did. is that normal ?

Okay so this week was a terrible week... i yanked on my headphones by accident while they were plugged into my computer so now only one side works, than lol today I like... picked up my headset and they broke it was really weird... and the sound on them wasn't working but the MIC still does so I still use that, and when I plug my USB speakers in, it kills the MIC, no sound will go through the MIC regardless of settings! well unless I'm missing something... So my sister has these really nice speakers that weren't even hers to begin with... but when playing games I like to talk to my friends which I can't do if I can't hear them, she only uses the speakers to plug her headphones in which I've tried the difference between the speakers and the computer audio jacks and theirs no difference in sound quality! How many times have you tried to re-seed the CPU/Heatsink? Have you only tried to put it back in the one time? If so, I would take it out again, and again try to put it back in. My 2 yr olds toenail just came off?? what THE?

What can i do to reclaim wasted space in our tiny yard?

If you think of a box when you come out of the house into the back yard, to the opposite end and dead center is a stone fireplace that's been there forever. we do use it and enjoy it. to the right and coming up from the back there is maple tree, then the garage door and then the gate to the driveway. On the left is our daughter's swing set. there is some open green space in the middle that the kids use to play and run around. off the house is a deck and patio. back on the left there is an extra strip that goes back maybe 30 feet and is probably 10 or 12 feet deep. towards the front of that space is a big tree (over 100 years old) that we would never cut, but the roots make it impossible to grow anything. and because it is "around the corner" it never gets used. any suggestions on what we could do to make it functioning usable space?

Last Wednesday I had tooth #19 extracted cuz it was infected completely, and the infection had already gotten into the surrounding bone a bit. Is my laptop keyboard broken?

I was going inside my laptop, an Inspiron 1525, to disconnect the monitor from it as the hinges were busted and the monitor was trashed basically. I took off the keyboard to pull out some monitor cords and then I accidentally yanked the keyboard to hard and the cord got pulled out. Me and my dad tried putting it back in the connector and then we turned the laptop on with an external monitor, which worked fine, but the keyboard didn't work. Help I Keep losing fish?

Today i was fishing with my 1/0 Octopus circle hooks (I recently asked a ? similar to this). i was using slices of hot dogs and i like to try and conceal the hook. But everytime a fish starts running with my bait i pick up my rod from my rod holder and it just spits the bait, its like the hooks aren't setting. I've heard don't set the hook with circle hooks, but i don't get how you don't do this because when i reel in fish i naturally just raise the rod tip...which is basically like SETTING the hook. I realize not to pick up the rod and yank upward, but i still raise the rod tip. when i first got these Octopus circle hooks i had no problem with losing fish. but recently i went fishing probably about 5 times in the past 3 weeks and i have lost at least 6 fish (either carp or cats). I am getting really frustrated, and also is there any good alternatives for baiting hot dogs like trying maybe a treble or something.

MY DOG HATES WALKING? HATES HER LEASH?

My Golden Retriever puppy had the same problem (except we couldn't exactly carry her) but now she walks on a leash beautifully. The key is a lot of patience. When you put her on the leash, wait for her to calm down (stop barking, pulling etc.). This may take a few minutes but she will eventually settle down. While you are waiting for her to calm down don't pull against her just firmly hold on to the leash. Once she calms down, take a few steps forward. If she follows you without going back into freakout mode, congratulations you fixed the problem. Most likely she may follow for a bit but then revert back to her old ways. If so just keep repeating the exercise and eventually you should be able to walk her. If none of this works, you can always use food. It is helpful to have someone else help you out with this. After she has calmed down, have a friend hold a treat in front of her nose as you walk forward. Once she has walked a few steps have the friend give her the treat. Repeat the process and increase the number of steps before giving the treat. By doing this, she will associate the walk with something positive. It also gives her something to focus on rather than allowing her to get anxious about walking on the leash. Hope this works for you. Good luck!

What could I do about this dental pain from braces?

Today I went in for my monthly appointment to get my braces checked. I had a loose ring on a molar and they had to yank it out and put a new one in. Also they put a new wire on my bottom teeth, the tightest chain they have on my top teeth AND elastics all day and night. To top it off its that time of the month and everything hurts. I killed a mouse and I feel horrible?

My cat brought back a mouse and a put a box over it so it couldnt go anywhere. I got my cat out of the room and took off the box to try to catch it. When to take off work when pregnant?

I'm 30 weeks today (with my first) and I work in a dog boarding and grooming facility. I take the dogs out 3 times a day, which does mean I get yanked around a lot, there are a lot of up and down stairs at my job too. I literally trek up and down at least 60 times a day. I bathe dogs, clean up feces, and then do a lot of miscellaneous work. Im going to talk to my doctor Wednesday when I should take off work but would like other thoughts and opinions before hand. You are right to keep her and her mate seperate for awhile till she is feeling stronger and get used to only having the use of one leg . If the vet say the leg is stiil getting a blood flow then it is not worth risking trying to remove the leg as there is a very high risk of her dying if the vet tried to remove it. Canaries aren't the most agressive birds but will of course bicker and argue do happen especailly at this time of the year when everyone is pairing up and trying to get best nest and protect it. Your poor bird has just been unlucky she damged her legs. I would make sure you have plenty of nest in the aviary i always make sure mine have more than pairs of birds. And make sure have plenty of nesting material. Mine seem to like hay. When she is stronger you can try reintroducing her and her mate. there maybe alittle bickering to start but hopefully not to much,. It is so important that you don't overcrowd your aviary as if there is to many birds they are more likely to argue. If she still is being bullied it might be worth just keeping her and her mate seperate till breeding season is over. It is great to read someone on her has taken there pet especailly a bird to the vets.

Okay so its been a few days after the game and instead of reading reviews on the game, theres nothing but hate filled articles aimed towards the fact that there were a lot more Mexican supporters than US ones. I went to the game, I was rooting for Mexico, and I was born here. I love America. okay no chemicals get damage repair shampoo and wash 3-5 days a week no blow dryer, straightener, or curler any heat products are a major no no. drink 3 waters a day, eat healthy, and exercise. don't brush you hair when wet. if you wear your hair up no one will notice. put it in pigtail braids for like 1/2-1 hour and it flattens my hair. you can look on youtube for more information or products to grow it out. good luck :)

Why do Americans love Guns so much?

Actually our murder rate is low compared to a lot of countries with restrictive weapons laws....Brazil, South Africa and Mexico come to mind. Plus, our murders with firearms tend to be associated mostly with the drug trade and 'warfare' between criminal gangs. 'Murders' also tend to restricted to certain parts of certain cities, and young men associated with gangs and the dope trade kill and are killed far more than young women associated with those same gangs. Young black men tend to kill each other more often white men, and Latinos tend to kill each other with firearms less often than asians per capita. Oddly, black men do not commit suicide with a firearm as often as white men and women in general rarely use a firearm to commit suicide. I bring this up because here in the US some states have very restrictive firearms laws and others very lax laws. The difference in firearm offenses tend to be about the same state to state so the argument that the 'firearm itself' is the problem doesn't jibe with the objective reality of the situation. Given that in states like Arizona where firearms are practically unrestricted and any adult without a criminal record can legally buy one, if the firearm itself led to murder it would follow that there would be no difference between men and women, rich and poor, black, white, latino and native Americans when it came to murder with a firearm....yet there are huge differences that can't be explained by legal ownership of a firearm. As far as 'self defense' with a firearm there are several thousand reports that an intended victim, when he or she exhibited a firearm the attacker abated his attack even though no shot were fired. While this issue gets kicked around by people a lot and everyone has their own take on the issue the reality of it is that possession of firearms by law abiding citizens pose no particular danger to the public at large...just stay out gang territory and out of the dope trade and chances are you'll never actually see a firearm or hear a shot fired.

Tooth Extraction!!!? What are they going to do!!?

Im natalie and im 13 years old. Im getting braces in late july. I am supposed to get a tooth extraction where i had a root canal two years ago. It's the bottom row, and the second last. (it used to be the last, but my wisdom tooth is now back there.) After they remove my root canal tooth, I think they are going to move my wisdom tooth in the place where my root canal tooth once was. Landscaping Nightmare--Please help. Do I yank everything?

how did it become the 'tenant's responsibility' to 'keep up the landscaping'?????... you might have to trim and mow, but that's as far as that should go.... the landscaping belongs to the landlord and you didn't install the mess, so it's not YOURS to be bothered with..... especially when you don't have the knowledge base that is required to do it right..... let the landlord know that you'll mow and trim but that he needs to send a gardener over to get the place in shape..... if it's that bad, the folks before you didn't have the time or the know-how EITHER... and you shouldn't have to fix THEIR mess..... if he balks, work out an arrangement for the summer where you pay the landscaper a reasonable fee, thru the RENT you give the landlord.... you don't pay the landscaper directly, as he's not working for YOU, but for the landlord!!!..... don't let them put this off on you!!!.....

Should I dye my hair?

Ok so I have really light blonde hair. It is not this color naturally I dye it. I like the color but if i do not keep the roots up to date it looks really bad. I have to dye my roots like every 3 weeks or it just looks awful. Right now its summer and I have been swimming a lot and since its dyed it obviously turns green. Even though I use all of the special shampoos to take out chlorine and do all of the treatments. Its beginning to be too much work. I was thinking of dying my hair a dark auburn color but I am afraid that it wont look very good on me and I will ruin my hair trying to get it back to blonde. So i'm 17 years old and I've been having hairloss for 8 months now. I have been through alot of changes. I was on birth control got off got on Vyvanse and antidepressions, I've been moving back and forth, so alot of stress. I'm off the antidepressions now. I also don't have my period like I used to... At all! I have it, sometimes... But I don't bleed nearly as much as I used to. I've had blood work done... Normal... I had a scalp biopsy they said it was telogen effluvium, but idk some hairs are thinner closer to the root and that worries me, bad. I do have hair growing back. I'm using rogaine and everything! Can someone tell me if they think it aga instead of te? Because during te I didn't think your hair got any finer... I used to have really THICK beautiful hair, now it's THIN! Someone please helppp! For four days I have had pain on one of my teeth, my dentist said I have Root Canal. To make problems worse I have a bridge over the affected tooth. Sadly, I can not pay for the root canal. Why wont terminal emulator work on rooted htc desire?

It was to increase the working conditions of the workers from sweatshop conditions in the 70s after the Depression made paying crap wages so easy, but went wrong when the pay increase demands never stopped! And went REALLY wrong when unions ignored the big picture of if the company could afford to pay in favour of using strikes and blockades as threats for money. Blackmail in other words. Balance. All things must balance, even union demands.

How's my story last part?

It's a pretty good ending but there are a few places that it could probably be improved. The line "Where the do you think you're goin' " sounds a little cliche. Also you need to sell the pain of her beating a little more if she is going to pass out from it. All in all I found it compelling, keep at it and make it great.
